Carril Bici
Tras la redacción del Plan de Movilidad Sostenible y el anexo para bicicletas, la concejalía de Participación Ciudadana anunció que el Ayuntamiento tiene intención de iniciar la creación de nuevos carriles bici y ciclo calles que unan los tres núcleos y los colegios del municipio, proyecto reflejado en el Plan de Acción de la Agenda Local 21. Debido al coste de este proyecto, unos 300 mil euros, se ha incluido dentro de la segunda fase del Plan Estatal de Inversiones.

Huertos Urbanos
Otro proyecto del Plan de Acción que se ha llevado a cabo desde el departamento de Participación Ciudadana es el de los Huertos Urbanos. Por un lado, se han habilitado unas 14 parcelas de 40m2 cada una en la Avenida Augusta, que han sido asignadas a ciudadanos tras sorteo público. Los agricultores del Asociación Valenciana de Agricultores aconsejan a los ciudadanos que necesitan consejo y ayuda para su huertos.

La delegación local de la AVA quiere también emprender un proyecto ambicioso, la creación de una "Estación agraria experimental", que consiste en huertos municipales, de mayor tamaño que los urbanos, que sirvan para que colectivos sociales elaboren sus propios productos (verduras o flores), pero también como terapia para ciertos colectivos (personas mayores, enfermos mentales), así como para alumnos de los colegios, y con una parte dedicada a la investigación.

Slow Food
En febrero 2010 se realizó una charla sobre el Slow Food: Slow Food, agricultura ecológica y huertos urbanos en Xàbia.

Estudio sobre el Saladar
La Plataforma Cívica en Defensa del Territori i Litoral de Xàbia sugirió que se podría realizar un estudio sobre el Riesgo de Inundabilidad del Sector Saladar 1 y contiguos, así como un Estudio de Evaluación de Impacto Ambiental de la zona, considerando el gran valor de este ecosistema y la importancia que tiene como pulmón verde de la zona. Éste trabajo se podría encomendar a una entidad que no tuviera interés urbanístico en la zona, ya que hasta el momento el único estudio existente ha sido llevado a cabo por la promotora interesada. A la hora de redactar el PGOU, el Ayuntamiento habría de tener en cuenta el documento independiente.

Cycle Lanes
After the publication of the draft Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan, and its annex on bicycles, the councillor for Citzen Participation announced that the Town Hall intended to initiate the creation of new cycle lanes and cycle streets, linking the town's three urban centres and its schools. This project had already been outlined in Xàbia's Local Agenda21 Action Plan. Because of  its cost, totaling some 300 thousand Euros, this development has been included in the second phase of the State Investment Plan.

Urban Allotments
Another project from the Local Action Plan which the Department of Citizen Participation has carried out are the Urban Allotments. 14 plots of 40 square metres each in the Avenida Augusta have been asigned to a group of citizens by public draw. The experts from AVA help and give advise.

The local delegation of the  Asociación Valenciana de Agricultores (Valencian Farmers Association) also wants to undertake the ambitious project of the creation of an "Experimental Agricultural Station " which would consist of municipal allotments, larger than the urban ones, which would help social groups to nurture their own products (vegetables or flowers), as well as being a therapy for certain groups (elderly, mentally ill), and for use by college students,  with a part dedicated to research.

Slow Food
On February 2010 we organized a talk on Slow Food: Slow Food, agricultura ecológica y huertos urbanos en Xàbia.

Study on the Saladar
The Civic Platform for the defense of the land and coast of Xàbia (Plataforma Cívica en Defensa del Territori i Litoral de Xàbia) suggested that there should be a study on the flood risk of the area of Saladar 1 and surroundings, as well as a study evaluating the environmental impact of the zone, taking into consideration the great value of this ecosystem and its importance as a green lung of the area. This work should be done by persons/entities which have no interest in the urbanisation of  the zone, since the only study to date was carried out at the behest of an interested developer. The Town Hall should take the independent study into account when drafting the General Plan.
